Vincent A. Amore, 51, of Adams Street in Smithfield, a mail handler for the United States Postal Service at Turnkey Office for 12 years, died Monday at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Patricia J (Bauer) Amore.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Vincent & Rita (Campagnone) Amore. He had been a resident of Smithfield for 21 years and had previously lived in Cranston. He was a past steward for the mail Handlers Union.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Emily Amore of Rochester, NY, Neil and Michelle Amore, both of Smithfield and a sister Janice Pontarelli of Johnston. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
