KROPATCH--Final rites for John Kropatch here Saturday
Funeral services for John P. Kropatch, 76, will be conducted at 9 a.m, Sturday [sic] at St. Bonaventure church. The Rev. Elstan Coghill, O.F.M., will officiate, with burial in the Caholic [sic] cemetery. The body is to lie in state after 1 p.m. Friday at McKown Funeral Home, where rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Kropatch died Wednesday after an illness of five months.
The son of John and Anna Kropatch, he was born July 11, 1890 at Osceola, and was married to Emilia Micek, Feb. 7, 1912 at St. Stanislaus church of Duncan.
They resided in Polk county before coming to Columbus in 1928. Mr. Kropatch had been an employe of Kavich Iron & Metal Company.
He was a member of the Catholic church.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Clarence C. Kropatch of Downey, Calif., and Lester F. of Inglewood, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Fillinger of Newcastle, Wyo.
Mr. Kropatch was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters and four brothers.
