Mrs. Givens was born March 5, 1928 in Smith County to the late, Thomas Fred Powell and Ethel Agnes West Powell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, W. C. Givens; and son, Anthony Wayne (Tony) Givens. She is survived by son, Tom Givens (Pat) of Gallatin; daughter, Suzanne Givens Replogle (Kevin) of Gallatin; special friend and caring provider, Carolyn Chavarria of Gallatin/Chattanooga; 9 grandchildren, Donna Morgan, Steven Givens (Lisa), Mary Beth McGruder (Brian), Brandy Shrum (Jon), Bobbie Newby, Jeff Givens (Cindi), Amy Givens McGrady (Michael), Will Replogle (Brittani), and Ryan Replogle (Sydney); 11 great grandchildren, Kirsten Givens, Thomas Givens, Mollie McGrady, Griffin McGrady, Brian Morgan, Scott Morgan (Catherine), Daniel Morgan (Ashley), Addison Shrum, Ryleigh Replogle, Reece Replogle, and Eva Replogle; and 7 great-great grandchildren, Seth Morgan, Quinten Morgan, Lexi West, Natalie Morgan, Lillian Morgan, Vincent Morgan, and Sarah Morgan. She was a long time member of Gallatin First United Methodist Church. She worked in banking for over 30 years, including First and Peoples Bank and Volunteer State Bank.
