CISCO -- Howard Ray Hamilton, 65, died Thursday, July 3, 2003 at Abilene Regional Medical Center. Services will be 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2003 in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel; burial with Military Honors will be in Oakwood Cemetery, directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home.
Mr. Hamilton was born March 7, 1938 in Monahans to Raymond and Gladys (Tickner) Hamilton. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a Methodist. He worked as a journeyman electrician and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors include his mother, Gladys Glenn of Breckenridge; a sister, Wanda Perry of Breckenridge; a brother, Donald Hamilton of Lake Dallas; sons, James and Anthony Hamilton of Cisco, Todd Hamilton of Queensland, Australia; grandchildren, James Hamilton, Jr., Amber Hamilton, Kayla Perez and Alexandria Hamilton; a great granddaughter, Elisa Perez; a number of nieces and nephews and cousins. Also, he was cherished and loved by his extended Arizona family, Edna Mott, Rhonda Porter, Barbara Asmussen, Ginger Peters and Amanda Edmonds. All will dearly miss him.
