Funeral services were held for Vernon Bexley, 62, of Lucedale, September 3, 2000, at 2 p.m. from George County Funeral Home Chapel.
A native of Greene County and a member of the Baptist faith, he died September 1, 2000.
He is survived by his daughter, Margaret (Mitchell) Dixon; two grandchildren, Daniel Dixon and Carmen Dixon; and two brothers, Larkin Bexley and Benson Bexley, all of Lucedale.
Interment was held at Northside Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Benson Bexley officiating.
Pallbearers were Phillip Barnhiol, Tony Dibenedetto, Albert Lee Shephard, Paul Beech, Charles Stephens and Elmer Patrick.
