EDWARD L. CARLIN
A resident of the Weet Side for 45 years, Edward Carlin, 71, died yesterday morning at his home, Bunker Hill Road, Kingston Township, following a short illness. He was a communicant. of Sacred Heart Church of Luzerne.
Besides his wife he leaves these Children: Matthew, mine foreman of Glen Alden Coal Company at Luzerne; Edward, Jr., Kingston, Catherine, Michael and Francis at home; Mrs. Herman Bassler, Syracuse; Paul, a mine engineer for the D. and H. Coal Company, and Stephen, an engineer for Glen Alden Coal Company, both of Luzerne; a brother, Hugh, and a sister, Mrs. Nicholas Bahman, both of Toronto, Ohio. He also leaves 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9 from the home of his son Stephen, 470 Bennett Street, Luzerne, with a requiem mass at 9:30 in Sacred Heart Church, Luzerne. Interment in St. Ignatius's Cemetery at Pringle.
