Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Woodland Hills Funeral Home, 11605 Woodland Ave., Mankato; and continues one hour before services Saturday at the church.
She is survived by son Dennis Schmidt and wife Bea of Lantana, Fla.; daughters, Betty Craven and husband, Milton of Boynton, Fla.; Laura Erlandson of Mankato; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Herman and wife Clara Schroeder of New Ulm; sister, Dorothy and husband Emery Tedrick of Everett, Wash..; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one brother, five sisters and one son-in-law.
She was born April 11, 1912 in Fairfax to John T. and Lydia (Keigbein) Schroeder. She grew up in the New Ulm area and moved to Mankato in 1950. While in Mankato she worked nine years for Brett's Department Store. In 1959 she moved to West Palm Beach, Fla., and worked for Burdeness. She retired in 1991.
