Mrs. Josephine A. Carey, 72, formerly of 700 Maple St., Grand Ledge, passed away Dec. 27 at a Lansing hospital. Mrs. Carey had been an area resident for most of her life.
She is survived by two sons. Rex Ferris of Grand Ledge and Lyle Carey of Mulliken; two daughters. Mrs. Wanda Arnold of Lansing and Mrs. Waneta Bosworth of Sunfield; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. Monday (Dec. 31) at the Holihan Funeral Home in Grand Ledge, with the Rev. Gerald Laing officiating. Interment was in Meadowbrook cemetery, Mulliken.
