Suzzi (Priddy) Alves, (68) long-time resident of Fresno, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, from heart disease.

Suzzi was born June 17, 1948 in Salinas and graduated from Salinas High School in 1966. While in high school, she was a cheerleader and heavily involved in the Thespian Club. She also enjoyed riding horses and spending summers at her father's cabin in Arroyo Seco.

After briefly living in San Luis Obispo and Salt Lake City, UT, Suzzi located to Fresno County, where she resided the rest of her life. She was a stay at home mother for a number of years before entering the workforce in 1984. She worked for Bank of America for more than 29 years and received recognition and a number of awards for her work in customer service.

After retiring from Bank of America in 2013, she enjoyed a lot of quality time with her grandson, Joseph Aguirre, and revived her passion for crocheting.

Suzzi is survived by her six children: Kim Sindel of Fort Collins, CO; Julie Sindel of San Diego; Lee Anthon of Hanford; Ryan Anthon of Fresno; Steven Alves of Los Angeles; and Monica Alves of Fresno. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno. If you would like to send a floral arrangement, please address it to Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N. Teilman Ave., Fresno, CA 93706.
