Hilliard J. Couch, age 52, 13220 N. Belsay Rd., Millington, died on Thursday, October 11, 1962, at St. Joseph Hospital, Flint. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 13, at the Benjamin Funeral Home, Clio, with Mr. Paul Burnham officiating. Graveside services were under the auspices of the Otisville Lodge No. 401, F&AM, at the Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Couch was born in Wise County, Va., April 23, 1910, and married Doris B. Montney on March 30, 1935. He was a resident of Thetford Township for 12 years, moving there from Flint. He was a member of the Otisville Lodge No. 401 F&AM, and was employed by the Buick Motor Division.
Surviving are: wife, Doris; one son, Ronald Couch of Millington; three daughters, Mrs. Marletta Atchinson of Onaway, Mrs. Jeannie Case of Clio and Mrs. Shirley Owen of Mt. Morris; eight grandchildren, one brother, Ernest Couch of Grand Blanc; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and uncles.
