Grace Crosby left her earthly home on January 23, 2007 to be with our Lord in Heaven. Grace was born to Theodore and Agnes Thompson on May 23, 1939 in Fergus Falls, MN. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School and Moorhead State College, where she was a member of the Pi Mu Phi Sorority and Homecoming Queen in 1959. Grace met David L. Crosby while attending college. They married and spent 46 wonderful years together. She is survived by her husband, David; three children, Todd of Lakeside, CA, Marc of La Mesa, CA, and Beth Macaulay of Alpine, CA, and six grandchildren, Rachel, Niki, Hannah, Stephanie, Bryce and Gracy. These children were the joy of her life. She is also survived by two sisters, Minerva Thompson of Minneapolis, MN, and Doris Nagel of Hillsboro, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, David. Grace was a teacher at Circle Pines and Bloomington, MN, and then became a mother and homemaker. After moving to California she became involved with Tupperware for almost thirty-five years. She was a sales manager for thirty of those years. Grace was an exceptionally positive person who saw something good in everyone and everything. Besides continuing to be involved with her children and grandchildren, after retiring, she and David traveled, cruised and motor homed extensively, meeting new people and visiting friends here and abroad. Grace was a true "Norsky" and one of her favorite words was "Uffda." Grace and David loved and lived in their welcoming home in Alpine, CA, for thirty years. Ceremonies celebrating Grace's life will begin with Visitation and Viewing at the El Cajon Mortuary from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30th. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 31st. Interment will be at Alpine Cemetery. She was much loved by all her family and friends and will be truly missed.
