BIOGRAPHY EXCERPT

Otto was born in Brutus, Michigan on April 28th, 1921, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Crapsey. He grew up in Brutus and was schooled there too before helping take care of his parents on the family farm. Otto then spent two years in the Army, stationed in Germany during World War Two before returning back to Northern Michigan. Otto went to work at the Petoskey Manufacturing Company and later retired from there as the Foreman of the Plating Plant.

On March 9, 1957, he married the former Audrey Hathaway and together, they enjoyed over 59 wonderful years. Of those years, many were spent in Zephyrhills, FL. where they were able to avoid all the snow in Northern Michigan.

OBITUARY EXCERPT

Otto was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings, as well as his wife, Audrey in September of 2016.

He is survived by his children, and five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
