Veteran of World War II and Korea. T/SGT, United States Air Force; T/SGT, United States Army Air Force. Served with the 349th Bomber Squadron, 100th Bomb Group (the Bloody Hundred). Evaded capture after the aircraft, Alice from Dallas, was attacked by fighters over eastern Belgium on August 17, 1943. Spent months with the underground before finally making it back to England.
