Daughter of Joseph & Juliana "Basler" Fallert, When Maria was born on July 20, 1866, in Missouri, her father, Joseph, was 41, and her mother, Juliana, was 38. She married Anthony Miller (Name changed from Anoton Mueller which appears on Missouri, Marriage Records, 1805-2000 and the 1910 US Census. Anton like so many others of German descent probably changed the surname between 1914-1918 to sound more American) on June 1, 1897, in Ste Genevieve, Missouri. They had four children during their marriage. She died on December 25, 1956, at the age of 90.

According to the Missouri Death Certificate Maria was buried at St. Philomena Cemetery, Bloomsdale, MO. In July 2002, the remains from St. Philomena Cemetery in Bloomsdale were relocated to St. Agnes Cemetery to make room for a new parish school. During the move, some stones were damaged or destroyed and replacement stones may not be entirely accurate.
