Mr. Eugene Raymond Abreo, Sr., age 80, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, June 10, 2017, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Brenda Classen Abreo.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, June 13, 2017, from Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.

Born February 22, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Albert F. Abreo and Florine Grote Abreo. He retired from SCE&G-Canady's Plant and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He was an Elk and formerly active with the Civitan's and Jaycee's. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandsons, and loved spending time with the Hardee's Morning Group.

Surviving are: his son, Ricky Abreo and his wife Cathy of Walterboro; grandson, Reece Abreo and his wife Corrine of Jacksonville, Florida; great granddaughter, Roslin Abreo; brother, Ralph Abreo of Aiken; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Reed Abreo; and a brother, David Abreo.
