Dorothy V. Dumbleton age 89, died December 5, 2012 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born February 26, 1923 in Honeoye Falls NY at daughter of the late Lee and Margaret Kendrick and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a member of the Calvary Chapel in Greece. Dorothy volunteered at Albion Central School and loved to crochet, animals, dogs, birds, horses and gardening. Most of all Dorothy loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 1985; son, William Samuel Dumbleton; daughter, Dorothy Buckelew; daughter-in-law, Carol Dumbleton, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Mary Tandle of IA, Donald Dumbleton of Rochester, Betty Marie Boccheciamp of NV, Howard Dumbleton of Rochester, Barbara (Robert) Longdue of Rochester, Debbie (Chuck) Newbould of Holley, Jackie (Joe) Longdue of Rochester, 28 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Sam) Cornelia of Rochester; brother, James (Betty) Kendrick of FL; daughter-in-law, Barbara Dumbleton of Ontario; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
