PRISH Helen Prish Wife and mother, 89 Garwood resident Helen Prish, 89, passed away on Feb. 9, 2007, in Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. Visitation is on Monday, Feb. 12, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 W. North Ave., Cranford. A service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Mrs. Prish, daughter of Edward and Hannah Wahl, was born and raised in Westfield, along with her sisters, Josephine Bowlby and Anna Lee, and brothers, Edward and Jack Wahl, who are all deceased. She recently celebrated her 64th wedding anniversary with her husband, Alex Prish. Mrs. Prish was retired from the Accurate Bushing Co., formerly located in Garwood. She was a devout parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church and was involved in many local community activities. She loved family visits, traveling and frequent trips to Atlantic City. Mr. and Mrs. Prish resided in Garwood since 1944 and Alex continues to live in the home they built to raise their four children, William Prish and wife, Peggie, Alan Prish and wife, Linda, Marilyn Latham and husband, Ted, and Gary Prish and wife, Robin Altman. Mrs. Prish is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer and Jeffrey Prish and his wife, Sherane, of North Carolina, Lara and Brian Prish of California, Ted, Christopher and Katherine Latham of New Jersey, and Evan and Clara Prish of New York, and one great-grandchild, Jonathan Prish of North Carolina.
