GLASGOW--Betty Rose Abern, 67, died Tuesday in a Billings hospital of pancreatitis.

Private family services are Tuesday under the direction Bell Mortuary of Glasgow. Burial is in Highland Cemetery at Glasgow.

She was born April 1, 1930, in Dover. Her father worked for the railroad, and the family lived all over the state. They settled in Glasgow in 1941.

She married Duncan Galston in Glasgow; they later divorced.

In 1970 she married Don Abern. He died in 1987

Abern's hobbies were cooking and crafts.
