Miriam Beam Hunter, 94, of Temple, passed away June 20, 2015 in Berks Heim, Bern Township. Her husband, Donald Howard Hunter, died in 2013.
Born October 29, 1920 in Wyomissing, she was the daughter of the late Edward Daniel and Margaret Mae (Naftzinger) Beam.
She was a graphotype operator for Ehrlic Graph Sales Agency, retiring in 1979.
Miriam was a member of St. John's UCC, Pricetown.
She loved to garden and enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by her son, David Earl, husband of Sharon V. Hunter, Temple. Also surviving is her sister, Ethel Frymoyer, Laureldale; her grandchildren, Kathleen, wife of Kyle Rentschler, and Timothy Hunter; and her great-grandchildren: Courtney, Madison and Nathan.
Miriam was predeceased by five sisters.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Road, Exeter Township.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604.
