Walter, the son of Ted and Goldie Weston, was born February 16, 1940 at Red Oak, Iowa. Walter married Peggy Brown on March 22, 1959 in Grant. For the last 23 years he operated heavy equipment for local landfills.
Walter was preceded in death by his brother Mick.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy, daughters, Lori and husband Mike Oakleaf, Lisa Lamb, and Mrs. David (Leslie) Parris, all of Elliott, Iowa; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Billy Ann) Foote, of Stanton, Mr.s Vern (Betty) Myers of Sublimity, Oregon, and Savilla Gebhart of North Liberty, Iowa, bother Teddy Weston and wife Donna of Grant.
