Born in Missouri to Stephen and Josephine Stewart. The family moved from Missouri to Kansas and then moved down into Oklahoma Territory to await the Landrun of 1889. They lived on the homestead for a few years and then moved to Lincoln County. Maggie married Van Wilcox and had a family. After the marriage disolved, she married a man named Anderson. She died in 1901 of Tuberculosis, which she contacted caring for an aunt. Her mother then raised Maggie's children. Maggie is buried in the family plot with her parents and a younger brother.
