No funeral services will be held for Donald Joseph “Duck” Au-France ,70, will be held.
Don died Thursday June 1, 2017 at his home near Douglas from leukemia.
He was born Friday, April 4, 1947 to Frederick Monroe and Mildred Margurite (Partee) Au-France in Douglas, Wyoming. Don was raised and educated in Douglas graduating from the Douglas High School.
Don was drafted in May, 1966 into the United States Army, where he served as a civil engineer in Europe. Don was discharged in May, 1968.
Don worked as a driver for numerous trucking companies, as well as having his own trucking business.
Don enjoyed life as a farmer/rancher and everything that life had to offer and was well known for always being there when someone needed a helping hand.
Don is survived by his spouse, Donna, of Douglas; daughter, Tonya Ann Pittsley, of Casper, Wyoming; sons, Robert (Tammy) Au-France of Laramie, Wyoming, Kenny Lee Au-France of Thermopolis, Wyoming, and Dennie Joseph Au-France; sister, MaryAnn Isenburger, of Wallace, Idaho; brother, Fred Emerson “Butch” Au-France, of Glenrock, Wyoming; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Don is preceded in death by his father, Frederick, on April 19, 1983 and mother, Mildred, on February 19, 1996.
A memorial to the Central Wyoming Hospice, 219 South Wilson, Street, Casper, Wyoming 82601 would be appreciated by the family.
