Chapin, SC - Funeral Service for Agnes K. Boozer, 100, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Irmo Family Worship Center with burial to follow in St. Andrews Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo.
Mrs. Boozer passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Brooks and Anna Slice Koon. She was the wife of the late S. Wyman Boozer.
Mrs. Boozer was a lifelong member of Irmo Family Worship Center (Irmo Pentecostal Holiness Church), where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She retired as a lab technician from General Electric Company following many years of service.
Mrs. Boozer, known as "Grandma Boozer" assisted her daughter at Playland Childcare, was a scout leader, and loved Saturday morning yard sales. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed fishing and attended numerous beauty pageants for both her granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
Surviving are her sons, Stanford W. "Buddy" Boozer, Jr., Ronald Franklin Boozer, Sr.; daughters, Sylvia B. Brannon (Danny), Barbara B. Mann (Ronnie); grandchildren, Bevan, Ronda, Shane, Scooter, Kayla, Darlene, Danny, Wyman, Deborah, Stephen, Una, Eddie, John; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Baker; two brothers and five sisters.
