Buddy was the son of Eleanor Zurkus and the late Joseph Zurkus. He is also survived by his sister and 2 nieces.
Buddy grew up in Branford, CT and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as a sergeant during the Vietnam War. He was a locksmith for many years with businesses in Branford and East Haven. Buddy was a longtime active member of the Stony Creek Fife & Drum Corps and will be especially remembered for his renowned "Stony Creek clam chowder."
He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed cooking for his family. Buddy loved the many dogs he owned throughout his life, including his beloved Jake and Cote.
He is dearly missed.
