He married Miss Lydia Workinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Workinger of York at the parsonage of Trinity United Evangelical church, East King street and was performed by the Rev. M. I. Jamison on Tuesday evening, March 29, 1910. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Kottcamp left for Chambersburg, where they would make their future home.
Mr Kottcamp conducted the Chambersburg Heating & Plumbing company. He was also the Chambersburg Burgess, Charirman of the recreation board, the civil defense director, and president of the Chamber of Commerce.
He was the father of two children; Jean (wife of James Coyle Clark Jr.) and Horace Alfred Kottcamp Jr.
