John E. Lynch was born in Madisonville, Texas in 1933, to Harvey and Ellen Lynch. He was brother to two sisters, Ruby Batton and Bonita (Cricket) Null.

He met the Love of his life and mother of his children, his beautiful wife, Ruth B. Lynch in Jacksonville, Texas. He and Ruth moved to Tyler and raised their children there. They later moved to New Harmony, Texas.

John was a Tyler Firefighter for 22 years. He was also a Home Builder (Contractor) and Surveyor.

He was a loving father to four daughters, Mary Piercefield of Van, Texas, Rita Barron of Orofino, Idaho, Kathy Frey of Flint, Texas and Donna Blow of Whitehouse, Texas.

He had eight beautiful grandchildren, Michael Piercefield, Daniel Piercefield, Russell Barron, Jason Sebring, Amanda Barron, Ashley Martin, Adam Barron and Jeremy Martin.

He also had 14 precious great-grandchildren, Shawnna, Shanna, Breanna, Tyler, Jackson, Katie, Gracie, Macy, Andie,
Daniel John, Austin Robert, Matthew, Levi and Paisley.


He was preceeded in death by his mother and father and his grandson, Michael and his sister, Cricket.

John was a very faithful Christian man who loved the Lord with all his heart.

On July 14, 2006, the Lord called John home and the angels carried him to heaven.
