Life Legacy

Robert Gene Higginbotham, 69, of Princeton died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born June 6, 1948 in Princeton, he was the son of the late Grady and Alta Clark Higginbotham. Bobby was the owner and operator of Higginbotham Custom Meat Shop and retired from Kroger in Princeton after 45 years of service as a butcher. He was a graduate of Princeton High School and attended Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Meadows Higginbotham; two brothers, David and Kenneth Higginbotham; and one sister, Sheila Hearn. He is survived by one son, Robbie Gene Higginbotham and fiancé Betty Daugherty and her children, Michelle, Paul, and Brittany of Princeton; one grandson, Jonathan Collins; two nephews, Rodney Hearn and family, and David Higginbotham and family; one niece, Michelle Higginbotham Pate and family; and sister-in-law, Jan Davis and family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Bill Jones and Pastor Mark Deeder officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
