Sharon Kay Crouse, 79, of Lehigh, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. There will be no services for Sharon. She will be buried next to her husband Edwin in the West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh.

Sharon Kay Swalla, the daughter of Charles and Winona (Williams) Swalla, was born July 4, 1937 in Fort Dodge and graduated from Lehigh High School in 1954.

She attended Iowa Central Community College where she took bookkeeping courses. On June 14, 1958, Sharon married Edwin L. Crouse in Lehigh. She was a long time bookkeeper at the Kallin-Johnson Monument Company in Fort Dodge retiring in 1981. On July 12th of 1986, Sharon’s husband passed away. Sharon loved her flowers and watching the birds. She was a member of the Lehigh United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Charles E. Swalla of San Antonio, Texas. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister Char Derrig, and a close friend Denny Wertz.
