CADDIGAN: Heather Joyce (nee McIntosh): After a long and hard fought battle with cancer, Heather passed peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the age of 58. Heather, cherished daughter of Glen McIntosh, and Joyce Sperry (Gilbert). Loving and devoted mother of Sean (Katherine) Caddigan, Riley (Randy Robinson), and Caley (Dave Elliott), and Grandmother of Georgia, Lucas, Rayna, and Alyssa. Dear sister of Glen McIntosh (Stephanie). Dear friend to Karen, Kendra, Colleen and all the ladies from the “Broad Squad”. Long time Educational Assistant with the P.V.N.C. Catholic District School Board for 18 years. Heather loved her students and taught from her heart. She offered great support and encouragement to all her students, and she always told them they could achieve anything they set their minds to. A very special thanks to Dr. Friesen, Dr. Jeyabalan, Dr. Gibson and all the kind supportive staff in the Cancer Care & Palliative Care units and PRHC. Also special thanks to Cathy and Sharon at Nightingale Nursing. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Sunday, April 30th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the Highland Chapel on Monday, May 1st at 11:00 a.m. Interment Highland Park Cemetery followed by a reception in the Highland Park Reception Centre.
