Dr. A. P. Keith died at 9:05 last night at his home in the Gerrer block, having succumbed to typhoid fever. He was thirty years old on the 8th of last April, and leaves a mother, Mrs. Emma S. Keith, and two brothers, Dr. J. T. Keith of this city, and C. B. Keith, who is now in Alaska. Dr. C. W. Jones of Lenexa, Kan was, a cousin, was present at his death
Dr Keith belonged to the Masonic, Odd Fellows and Maccabee lodges.
The funeral services were held this afternoon in the Episcopal church. The remains were taken to Davenport, Iowa, for cremation, after which his ashes will be interred in his father’s grave at Farmington, Iowa.
