Richard Brian Barry, 89, of Memphis, retired from Firestone, died Tuesday at Cordova Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Family Funeral Care with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He was a World War II Army veteran, the recipient of three bronze stars and a member of Salem Presbyterian Church in Atoka. Mr. Barry, the husband of Hazel Jenner Barry for 61 years, also leaves a daughter, Shirley Chambers of Memphis; a son, Brian L. Barry of Rossville; a sister, Alice Bartee of Cordova; two brothers, L.W. Barry of Pulaski, Tenn., and Albert Doyle Barry of Brighton, and a granddaughter.
