He was owner and operator of Patterson Phillips 66 Service Station and most recently retired as an employee of Peerless Products. A resident of Colorado Springs since 1948, he was active with the Pikes Peak Council of the Boy Scouts of America for 30 years. He was born to Susa (Maxson) and Burnett Pryor Patterson, August 29, 1910. He was married, April 19, 1938 in Pueblo, Colorado to Bernice Eileen May. He was predeceased by his wife and eldest son, Bernie.
