"Ruth Sensening of Ephrata:
Ruth E Sensenig, 72, of 932 E Main St Ephrata, died March 21 at Ephrata Community Hospital. Death was unexpected, but she was under a physician's care.
Mrs. Sensenig retired in 1947 as a floor lady for the Rosenall Manufacturing Co., Ephrata.
She and her husband, Harold I Sensenig, celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary July 7. Born in Millway, Warwick township, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Mary Ecenroad Blantz.
A lifelong Ephrata resident, Mrs. Sensenig belonged to the Ephrata United Zion Church and was active in the church circle.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Larry Lee, Leola, and Barry Jay, New Holland; a daughter, Mary Lou, wife of Clair K Martin, Port Royal, Juniata County; a brother, Henry E Blantz Ephrata; three sisters, Daisey Mastle, Florence Krimes, and Irene, wife of Ivan Lutz, all of Ephrata; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
Relatives and friends attended the funeral from the Ephrata United Zion Church, Fulton St., Ephrata, with the Reverend Luke Showalter and Rev Melvin Horst officiating. Interment in Bergstrasse Cemetery, Ephrata Twp."
