WHITLOCK-Avis M. Whitlock, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 7th, 1927 and raised in Garber, Iowa. She spent her entire adult life in the Azusa/San Dimas area of Southern California. She was a long time employee for the City of Azusa. Avis is survived by her sister Marie O'Brien from Stockton, California. She also is survived by her four children: Bev Sauer from Marietta, Georgia; Kathy Perez from San Dimas, Ca lifornia; Ken Whitlock from Orange Park, Florida; and Renie Kolb of Covina, California. There are eleven grandchildren: Kristy White, Steven Crouse, Jeff Kolb, Jenni Briones, Mark Sauer, Mike Kolb, Kevin Whitlock, David Kolb, Karen Kolb, Randy Whitlock, and Ben Whitlock. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren. Her funeral mass will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in San Dimas on Friday, February 23rd at 9:30 AM with burial following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights.
