Passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 23rd at the age of 93. Bette is predeceased by her two sons, Thomas and Frank, and her parents, James and Josephine Zavitka. She is survived by her daughter, her granddaughter, her grandson and her three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous cousins and many loyal family friends.
A long-time resident of South San Francisco, Bette loved family gatherings, watching the Giants and Warriors games and enjoyed praying the rosary. She was an independent woman who lived life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a gentle soul who was thoughtful, generous and loving.
