Catherine A. “Cathy” Barnette, 60, of Ruscombmanor Twp., passed away Saturday June 17th in Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton of natural causes.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Daniel W. Moser of Oley and wife Karen and the late Mary C. (Rys) Moser who passed away April 25, 2008.
Cathy graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 1974.
Cathy was employed by Brentwood Industries for twenty four years. She was a Assembly Supervisor.
Cathy was a member of Ark Bible Chapel, Earl Twp.
Cathy enjoyed traveling to the Pocono Mountains where she loved to observe all the wildlife.
Cathy was a animal lover, enjoyed cooking, and baking.
Surviving is a longtime companion, William “Bill” Heller, Jr. of Ruscombmanor Twp.
There are two children, William D. Barnette and wife Stacy of Gilbertsville, and Beth A. Barnette and boyfriend Josh of Ruscombmanor Twp.
Also, stepchildren, Jeff and Jessica Heller.
Cathy was predeceased by a son, Joseph P. Barnette who passed away October 25, 2002.
There are ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Also, Cathy is survived by a sister, Diane L. Zerbe and husband Rick of Blandon.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26th at Noon in Ark Bible Chapel, 88 Woodchoppertown Rd., Boyertown, PA 19512 (Earl Twp.) with Pastor Jim Ralph officiating.
A viewing will be held on Monday from 11 am until time of service in the church.
Interment will follow in Oley Cemetery of Spangsville.
