Funeral services for Curtis Howard Atwood, 54, of Lake Providence will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel Methodist Church here [Logansport], with the Rev. O. D. Beam officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Caraway Funeral Home.

Mr. Atwood died Tuesday at his residence after a brief illness.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Sybil Nichols of Minden, Mrs. Oma L. Meeks of Albany, Ga., Mrs Inez Meadows of Haittisburg, Miss., and Miss Eula F. Atwood of San Antonio, Tex.; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Collins of Logansport, Mrs. Janie Blackmon of Granice, Ark., Mrs. Irene Ottwell, of Bailey, Miss., Mrs. Tagara Wells of Hughes Springs, Tex, and Mrs. Lessie Teal of Atlanta, Tex.; and two brothers, A. W. Atwood of Logansport, and A. L. Atwood of Rodessa.
