John B. Kessinger

Funeral services were held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. from the Barbour funeral home in Chambersburg for John Bryson Kessinger, 42, who died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, March 5, 1952, at his home in Chambersburg following an attack of the grip.

The Reverend Paul B. Lucas officiated and burial was in the Norland Cemetery.

He was born at Upper Strasburg March 12, 1909, the son of the late Bruce and Martha (Oyer) Kessinger,
and was employed as a mechanic by the T.M. Zimmerman Company.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara Irene (Miller) Kessinger; three daughters, Mrs. John W. Wagaman of Mont Alto; Mrs. Gene T. Aughinbaugh of Chambersburg, and Mrs. Richard S. Miley, at home;
one granddaughter, and five brothers, D. Wilbur Kessinger of Mt. Union; Lester S. Kessinger, Warren B. Kessinger, Emmett O. Kessinger, and Harry F. Kessinger, all of Chambersburg.
