His father (born June 1838 / 1839 - in what is now Menard Co. IL) died a Private in the Civil War, on the 12th or 13th of Nov. 1863, on the steamer "WESTMORELAND" on the Mississippi River (near Helena, Arkansas) of disease.
His widowed mother was married secondly to George Sutherd Weatherby. She had more children through this second marriage, but only had this one son through her first marriage.
Married to wife "Annie" (former Miss A. H. Trask) in November 1901, Sebastian County, Arkansas.
Had no known children.
He was occupied as a Rock Island Railway brakeman.
He lived at 2015 Scott St. in Little Rock, Ark. at the time of his death; he died of "concussion of brain and internal injuries" from an "accident on railroad" in Little Rock, Jan. 17, 1926, aged 63, survived by his wife.
Buried at the Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock, Jan. 19, 1926.
