Violet Irene Targett, age 92, of Dearborn, Michigan, formerly of Linton, died on October 6, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia, Michigan. She was born in Linton on Sept. 9, 1915, the daughter of William & Maggie (Shonk) Higar. She is survived by a son, Lindy Henson, & wife, Carol, of Westland, Michigan, a grandson, Scott, & wife, Christine, great-grandchildren, Olivia & Alexander, & a sister, Rhea Edmondson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Targett, April 20, 2002. Funeral services will be held at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Linton Chapel at 10:00 A.M. Thursday. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
