Gerald L. Heaton
SPRINGFIELD TWP. - Gerald L. Heaton, 57 of 2700 Meadow Dr., died July 11 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born in East Palestine, Ohio, and lived in Springfield Twp. since 1948. When employed, Mr. Heaton was a foundry worker, taking a disability retirement 12 years ago.
He is survived by son, Derald, of Akron; daughter, Brenda, at home; two grandsons; brother, Samuel T., of East Liverpool, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Mamie Guy, Mrs. Verna Brown, and Mrs. Margaret May, all of East Palestine, Ohio, Mrs. Eunice Weikart, of Columbiana, Ohio.
Funeral services, Tuesday, 1 p.m., at the Hopkins UNIONTOWN Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St., (1 block northwest of the square of 619 and Cleveland Av.). Burial East Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 TODAY and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
