Angeline “Angie” Anna Marie Taube Schieck passed away July 7, 2014 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas after a prolonged illness. Angie was born in Colby, Kansas August 1, 1951 to Phyllis Gene and Lambert Bernard Taube. She attended local schools in Colby.
In 1967, Angie united in marriage to Spencer Alan Schieck. They were married in Rexford, Kansas. To the union was born Laura Ann Schieck in 1968 who now resides with her husband Brian Weaver, her son Spencer, and her daughter Morgan of Olathe, Kansas.
She is survived by one brother, Lambert Taube, Jr., and his wife, Debbie, of Liberty, Missouri, Survivors also include a sister, Rosina Taube, of Independence, Kansas, along with two nephews and two nieces. Her parents and one nephew precede her in death. A family viewing was held in Kansas City, Kansas on Saturday, July 12. Her final resting place will be in Colby, Kansas. A service remembering her life will be held at the Beulah Cemetery in Colby, Kansas on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 9 am. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Humane Society. Angie and her long-time partner, Robert “Bob” Tracy were together thirty-three years until her untimely passing. At the end of her life, her loving family surrounded her.
