R. D. O'Rear, 85, of Williamstown, WV passed away June 22 at Highland Oaks Healthcare Center in McConnelsville, OH. R. D. was born December 7, 1931 in Jasper, Alabama to Basil and Thelma {Kemp} O'Rear.
He served in US Army.
R. D. worked for the Alabama Central Railroad and retired after 30 years. He was a member of Whipple Baptist Church. R.D. enjoyed fishing and loved the Lord.
R. D. will be deeply missed by his wife, Rose, of 18 years, sons; Ralph Dwayne O'Rear of Earlington, KY, Mike O'Rear of Providence, KY, daughter, Pam O'Rear of Canada and grandchildren, Jason and Adam O'Rear.
R. D. was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sally Lazelle O'Rear Wilson.(Billy Joe Wilson).
Interment will be at a later date at Sunset Memory Gardens.
