Alberta E. Beilstein, 93, of Plum, died Monday (Oct. 18, 2004) in Ridgewood Assisted Living, Plum.
Born July 28, 1911, in Philadelphia, she lived in Plum the past 33 years.
Mrs. Beilstein was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Universal Presbyterian Church, Plum.
She was a volunteer at Forbes Hospice, Pittsburgh, for 20 years, where she received recognition for the most service hours, and participated with the Girl Scouts.
Survivors include a son, Karl R. (Linda) Beilstein of Edgewater, Md.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl R. Beilstein; and her parents, Frank and Willamiana Besau.
Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday in the ENGLISH BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont. Burial will be in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum.
