VAN VALKENBURG, Vera Claudia, 81, a resident of Prattville, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Prattville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial directing.
Mrs. Van Valkenburg was preceded in death by her former husband, Howard Burkhalter and daughter, Kaye White.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Van Valkenburg, Jr.; two daughters and son-in-law, Sherry and Myron Wood and Kim Holmes; one son, Randy Shelton; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, extended family and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday one-hour prior to the service.
