Jerome “Jerry” Broehm, age 86, of Brillion, passed away on May 9, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Jerry was born on April 6, 1931 in the town of Rantoul, son of the late Arvin and Lydia (Fredrick) Broehm. On May 12, 1962, he married Joan Bernard at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. The couple would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary today. Jerry worked on the family farm until 1995, drove a milk truck for Cold Springs Cheese Factory, and also worked at Hernke’s Cheese Factory, later Sargento.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Chilton, serving in many capacities. He was also a member of Peace Ev. & Reformed Church in Potter. Jerry loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. All that counted to him was if he could make one child smile. He never went to bed angry, and he focused a lot on forgiveness.
