Verba was born January 29, 1920 in Graham, Oklahoma to the late Joseph Ellis and Nettie Gertrude (Tripp) Holman. She married Tandy Frederick "Fred" Bone October 1, 1936 in Jacksboro and he preceded her in death September 9, 1982. Verba was a member of the Church of God for over 60 years and served as a choir member, Sunday School teacher, and Sunday School Class Secretary for 30 years.
Survivors include: daughter, Virginia Barnett and husband, Gale of Weatherford; sons, Richard Bone and wife, Nina of Graham and Steve Bone and wife, Rhonda of Graham; sisters, Jerlean Cordell, Jodean Hudson, and Bobbie Langford all of Graham; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Eva Lee Logan and Imogene Brown and brothers, Emmett, Ernest, and Chester Holman.
