AMBURGEY, ADA VIRGINIA, 71, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2005, at her home.

Ada was born on March 31, 1934, in Knott County, KY, to the late Leslie and Nancy Short Williams. She was a member of the Church of God for 40 years and a member of Solid Rock Church of God. She was a wife, mother, counselor and friend. A tireless prayer warrior, who set the example of what love and commitment to Christ was all about. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, six children, six sisters and brothers, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2005, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with a reverend officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to the family through Fifth Third Bank.
