On July 18th, 1872 she was united in marriage at Hubbardston to Patrick Cosgriff & a few years later they came to Pewamo to make their home & where Mr.Cosgriff passed to his reward Feb.9th, 1892. Four children were born to Mr.& Mrs.Cosgriff: Mrs.Wilber Vance, of Pewamo; William Cosgriff of Freeport;, Edward Cosgriff of Springfield, Mo., & Miss Nellie Cosgriff of Pewamo village.
Mrs.Cosgriff was a member of the local lodge Degree of Honor & had during the course of her membership served in many official capacities with credit & respect to the order. She was a devoted member of St.Joseph's church & always aided in every manner possible the work of that institution. She was tenderly layed to rest by her two sons, Edward & William, & two brothers, William & James Davern, Wilber Vance, a son-in-law & J.Cunningham, a nephew from Hubbardston, who acted as pallbearers.
She rests today conscious of earthly labors well performed & her memory will always be of pleasant remembrance to those who knew her.
