Frederick W. Amsler, 71, of Rachel Road, Curtice, died today in St. Charles Hospital. He was a retired self-employed construction worker.

Surviving are his wife, Opal; sons, Burl, Clifford, Glen, and Louis Skiles; daughters, Mrs. Estella Foster and Mrs. Shirley Sullivan; brother, Loyd, and sister, Mrs. Bessie Dehn, Mrs. Bonnie Scharlow, Mrs. Violet Driftmeyer, and Mrs. Ethel Metzker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Hoeflinger Mortuary, Navarre Avenue, where the body will be after 7 tonight.
